This super easy raspberry custard recipe would be a perfect treat for your sweetheart on valentine's day!

  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup corn starch
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 3/4 cups milk heated in the microwave
  • 2 egg yolks
         *For the raspberries*
  • 1 cup frozen raspberries
  • 1-2 tsp sugar (depending on how sweet ya want it)
  • A handheld blender

1.  Add the sugar to your raspberries and stir em' up!
Then, set them aside to soften.

2.  Heat your milk up in the microwave for about
2 minutes and 30 seconds or until hot

3.  Separate your egg yolk and white.

4. Mix the sugar, corn starch and salt in a medium, thick bottom sauce pan.

5. Add your hot milk a little bit at a time, stirring in between.

6. Stir over medium-high heat until boiling. Then boil for one minute.
You will be able to feel it thicken as you stir it!

7. Turn off and remove from heat.

8.  Beat your egg yolks.
Add one cup of the custard to the yolks, stir it well,
then add back to the custard mix and combine.

 9. Get your handheld blender and blend the raspberry mix
until it is a wet but thick paste.

10. Add your raspberries to the custard and mix well

11. Garnish your custards and serve!

Enjoy your sweet treat!
(Sorry for a messy kitchen and some bad lighting)
