DIY Carrot Juice!

It is almost Easter! I don't really celebrate but I think it is a perfect opportunity
for all of us to turn into little bunnies and consume as many carrots as possible!
Here is a super easy recipe without a juicer or vitamix!

  • 4 carrots
  • 1 cup water
  • A sieve
  • A food processor
  • A bowl
  • About 1 tsp fresh ginger

1. Wash and Chop your carrots into carrot discs!
You can chop the discs in half if you please.

2. Put the carrot discs into your food processor and pulse until
it resembles carrot foam. It should be pretty fine but it doesn't have
to be smooth. Just in really tiny pieces.
You will see the juices already!

You might have to scrape down the sides a couple times with a spatula.

3. Add your water and leave on for a couple minutes!
You can add a slice of ginger now, but I grated it in at the end
to control the taste.

4. Place your sieve on top of your bowl and add your carrot mash!

5. The juices will start to drain immediately, but we can speed it up by
pushing the mash through the sieve. I even picked it up and squeezed
the juices out of it, which helped a whole lot. I got about a cup of juice.

6. Now for the ginger!
Grate about a teaspoon of ginger into the juice, and mix it in well!

7. Serve!
This stuff is so refreshing. I love it!

I hope you enjoy!

Until next time, Little Bunnies,

DIY Tiny Hanging Flower Vase (Yay Spring!)

Spring is here! This cute little vase adds a beautiful touch to your life to remind you- spring is here!

  • Little Bottle Charms
  • Freshly cut flowers (I used mini daffodils)
  • Wire in a thin gauge
  • Wire cutters
  • Pliers

1. Cut your flowers to the desired length
(My stem was about two inches)

2.  Wrap your wire around the neck of the bottle a couple times,
Leaving about half an inch of slack on the end.

3. Bend the wire up, over the top of the bottle,
then back down to create a loop.
Leave a couple of inches of slack, then cut it!

4. Wrap the remaining slack around the bottle to meet with the other end,
then twist the two together to finish.

5. Bend the wires against the neck of the bottle.
Now, you can add a bit of water and your flowers!

6. Hang it on a window or on a wall!
I put mine in our car on the mirror!
(Such a simple but cute touch!)

I know, I know, I haven't posted in over a month, I have been insanely busy...
BUT, now I am on spring break so I will hopefully post a lot more soon!

Meet Micina

My aunt and uncle are moving to Ecuador!
I will miss them a lot, but I can't wait to visit them!
Until they can come back and get her, I will be taking care of their cat, Micina!

My room is a new palace everyday!

Her favorite sleeping spot is in my closet and on my bed!

Silly Kitty eats with her paws!

She eats in space!

She is the sweetest and most affectionate kitty ever.

She is always eating and drinking and sleeping!

Did I mention she is absolutely beautiful?

Also, here are some pictures of Virginia scenery!

We have become fast friends, and we are close already!
She rubs up against me and gives me kisses every day!
Right when I get home every day, she gets up from her nap and
stretches by putting her paws on my chest and looking into my eyes.
I can't wait to spend more time with her!
