The farm

It is summer in North Carolina and it is surprisingly nice out, (rather than scalding)
I am at my family's farm near Asheville and it is a beautiful place to be in spring.

It's all nice and balmy with so much green and nature and wow.

Also the river is really nice and refreshing, it's nice to finally be able to swim!

There are also a lot of ripe blackberries that are ready to be picked!

And the mountaintop is the most beautiful thing you can think of. It used to be a christmas tree farm but is now really overgrown and scenic.

We recently had a party in celebration of Beltane and one year on the farm! It had lots of good food and lots of merry experiences.

We even had a may pole!

Lately I have just been pretty lazy, and I don't plan on doing much of anything until tomorrow, when I will celebrate the summer solstice by going to firefly! (here is the link in case you want to go http://www.fireflygathering.org/scheduleClasses.asp)

I do really love being up here and connecting with nature so much more.
